Open the Social menu, get to the "Invitations" tab, enter their EA ID in the "Search for EA ID" box and the game will automatically send them a cross-play friend request. This is the name of the EA Play account associated with their first-party count, which they had to have linked the first time they played an online EA game. If you want to add someone to your list that isn't in your game already, you need their EA ID.If you meet a player in-game and wish to add them to your list, select their name in the Scoreboard menu, choose "View Game Profile" and then select, "Add to EA Friends." This allows you to invite them and play with them whenever, regardless of platform. To do this, you must add those different-platform friends to your EA cross-play friends list. Star Wars Squadrons allows for cross-play which means that people on different platforms ( PC, PS4, Xbox One) can play together.
