I've tried glide64 and all the other plugins in Portage, so I'm not sure what's up. Unfortunately the sound is buggy in wine and it has crashed three times (I've had to play the same part of the game over and over haha). I am using x86 and have used project64 in wine. Thanks for taking your time to try it out. Update2: Try mupen64-glide64, it's in portage. Update: I tried it now: No crashes, but heavy graphical gitches (no world, only link ) Mupen64 isn't the best emulator, only the best for linux.īut you could try Project64 under / with wine, should be one of the best emulators. I could even imagine that that's a bug in mupen64. Last edited by raptor5001 on Sat 5:55 am edited 1 time in total I am using the official nVidia drivers, and have a GeForce 6800GT. But when the title screen loads and the second before Link is supposed to gallop onscreen (if you know this game), the whole program crashes. The ROM loads and I see the spinning Nintendo logo. I've tried disabling plugins, using different ones, switching between interpreter and dynamic compiler to no avail. Rom size: 33554432 bytes (or 32 Mb or 256 Megabits) I am trying to play Ocarina of Time in mupen64, but am getting this /usr/lib $ mupen64Ĭouldn't load plugin '/home/rob/.mupen64/plugins/tr64gl-0.8.7-pre1.so': libgtk-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Posted: Thu 5:43 am Post subject: mupen64 crashes Gentoo Forums Forum Index Gamers & Players Gentoo Forums :: View topic - mupen64 crashes
